In November 2021, The Graceful Ordinary, a contemporary upscale restaurant, opened its doors in St. Charles, Illinois. This eatery represents the first step into ownership for Chris and Megan Curren, a journey they undertook with the support of the architecture and design firm Dunne Kozlowski. Together, they transformed a mid-century modern bank into a vibrant, inviting venue that pays homage to the traditional colonial tavern.

The award-winning restaurant serves as a communal meeting spot, offering various unique dining experiences. The Graceful Ordinary embodies the Currens' vision of a familiar yet extraordinary establishment, from intimate lounge settings to energetic dining rooms and seamless indoor-outdoor dining.
